Mateus rosé is made exclusively with red grape varieties such as Baga, Rufete, Tinta Barroca or Touriga Franca.
It is vinified using white wine-making methods.
The atypical colour of Mateus rosé is the result of a long fermentation process at a controlled temperature, during which the fermented juice does not come into contact with the grape skins.
MATEUS rosé is a fresh, supple, fruity wine with a bright robe. On the palate, its slightly sparkling edge makes it an excellent aperitif. It also goes well with Chinese and Italian cuisine, grilled meats, salads, fish and shellfish.
MATEUS rosé is best served at between 8 and 10°C.
