The Bodega Marqués del Puerto keeps a close eye on the production methods of about 741 acres of ancient vineyards, most of which are planted with Tempranillo.
The harvested grapes are transported directly to the Bodega, where they are turned into wine using the most modern techniques.
The oak casks (6,500 in French and American oak) complete the maturing of our red wines and allow them to develop their ruby colour, their bouquet and the smoothness that characterises great wines.
To perfect its qualities, and always under the strict control of the D.O.C Rioja, the wine is bottled and placed in a cellar where the rest and the appropriate temperature and humidity give it its unique and delicate taste to give maximum pleasure to wine lovers.
